High Road Gallery Scarf

This the first piece I wove when I started as a Resident Artist at High Road Gallery in Worthington, Ohio. It is completely different between the front and back. Woven from rayon, it is so shiny, it almost glitters.
I measure the warp yarns and paint them with dye before I put the warp onto the loom. I also measure out 500 yard skeins and dye them simultaneously with the warp .The interaction of colors between the warp and the weft is magical to behold. This scarf is a harmony of colors and tones. 15" x 58".
