Original Art: Octopus's Garden ...In the Shade

I have been drawing and painting sea creatures a lot of late. Octopus in particular. And when I was working on my previous painting, I had the ear worm of Octopus’s Garden by the Beatles (Abbie Road album) going round and round in my head. So, I wondered what would it look like if an octopus used his garden as a snare. And here we are. #octopusgarden #intheshade #fantasypainting #inkandgouacheonpaper
 
I primarily work in inks and gouache. I like inks because they are full of color and more transparnt than watercolor.
